Question:
How can I uninstall the SDL Component Suite?
Answer:
Depending on which release you are speaking about, there are two ways to uninstall the SDL Component Suite:
- Release 6.6 or higher: open the Windows Control Panel, click on "Add/Remove Software" and select the version of the SDL Component Suite to be removed.
- Release 6.5 or lower: you have to remove the SDL files and to clear the corresponding library path entries manually. If you installed the Component Suite as described in the help file (i.e. by copying the files to the various Delphi/C++Builder directories), you maybe want to use a simple helper application which searches for all SDL files in the Delphi/C++Builder directories. This application lists all found files and lets you remove the files by copying them to the recycle bin. Please note that this program is provided as is with no warranties - it's just a program intended to help you when uninstalling old versions of the SDL Suite.
