The user interface of SDLRename is split up into five parts: the top command panel, the file selection panel, the rename conditions, the preview window, and the status line.

SDLRename offers three modes: two simple insert and replace modes, and a more complex advanced mode which is based on regular expressions and algorithmic insertion/replacement. More details can be found in the accompanying help file.
